Compassion fatigue is growing in sweeping proportions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Professional Quality of Life Scale, burnout and secondary traumatic stress are two interwoven elements of compassion fatigue. If you are in a role where others are depending on you, this can creep in without you even being aware it’s happening. Compassion fatigue is the emotional residue and strain of ongoingly being in a support role while dealing with others who are under stress or new pressures.
By the end of this program you will walk away with the ability to identify when compassion fatigue is happening, and practical compassion fatigue reducing strategies that can improve your personal and professional life.
