Join the discussion on recent caselaw from the Workers’ Comp arena that focus on issues arising directly from the employment environment.

A central purpose of the Colorado Workers’ Compensation Act is to provide the quick and efficient delivery of disability and medical benefits to injured workers at a reasonable cost to employers without the necessity of litigation. Unfortunately, the reality is more complex and often unclear whether and to what extent an injury should be covered under the Workers’ Compensation Act.

In this webinar, we will discuss some recent caselaw from the Workers’ Compensation arena that focus on issues arising directly from the employment environment. We will examine how various employment factors may impact a workers’ compensation claim. Examples of some specific topics include horseplay, deviations from the course and scope of employment, safety rule violations, and terminations for cause.
