About the Presenters: Mac Clemmens of Streamline and Sloane Dell’Orto of Districts Forward.

Mac Clemmens and Sloane Dell’Orto co-founded Streamline, a company focused on website compliance for special districts, in 2015. Streamline’s Special District Platform has the technology tools districts need for transparency, accessibility, compliance, online payments, website content management, email marketing, and more.

Mac’s background is in business, with a passion for making technology easy to use and accessible to all; Sloane’s background is in fire and emergency medicine, with a passion for public policy as it relates to local government.

In 2020 Sloane stepped back from the day-to-day operation of Streamline to focus on Districts Forward, the only online community dedicated to helping ensure the future of special districts through training in public outreach, fundraising, social media, marketing, technology, and more. Districts Forward provides educational materials and webinars on the subjects special districts need to master to stay relevant.
