Safety and Loss Prevention Grants

Double the power of your safety budget.

Every year, we reimburse members for hundreds of thousands of dollars in safety and loss prevention purchases. This has empowered them to make landmark improvements and obtain resources that would have been otherwise out of reach.

The program reimburses up to 50% of the cost of purchases that help reduce the risk of a loss or improve the safety of your facilities.

What Can We Buy?

Common examples include:

  • Fire extinguishers
  • Hail and wind-resistant building upgrades
  • Automatic external defibrillators (AEDs)
  • Slip-resistant flooring
  • Training programs and seminars
  • Security cameras, lighting, or fencing
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE)

Exclusions:

This program will not reimburse things such as:

  • SDA or other organization dues
  • Pool contributions or insurance premiums of any kind
  • Routine maintenance or repair costs
  • Payroll for any employee for any purpose
  • Covered claims and deductibles
  • Purchases made prior to availability of funds

The Fine Print

All reimbursements are subject to the approval of the Pool and the district’s designated representatives. Funds are dispersed annually based upon prior year’s contribution and longevity.

Funds expire if not used within five years of allocation. More conditions and limitations apply, or contact us for more information.

Member Discounts
