This year, the CSD Pool’s 2020 Workers’ Compensation Audit will be processed using an updated, simplified version of the same value collection system used for your district’s 2021 coverage renewal. Brokers and members who must complete the audit will receive an email from notifications@origamirisk.com with details and a link to access the application form. If you haven’t done so already, please be sure to whitelist this email address or domain with your email service to ensure you receive your email.

What Is the Workers’ Compensation Audit?

Your district’s 2020 annual contribution was determined based on the payroll estimates that were provided to us in late 2019. The purpose of the annual audit is to reconcile these estimates with what your district actually paid in annual payroll during 2020. It’s important to note that the annual audit is unrelated to the recent 2021 coverage renewal.

How Do I Complete the Audit?

Members with Board Member Only Coverage will be prompted to provide their district’s actual 2020 payroll and total number of board members, listed under class code 8811.

All other members will be prompted to provide their district’s actual 2020 payroll by class code, the total number of covered employees, and the total number of hours worked by all covered employees in 2020. Members with volunteer firefighters on record will also be prompted to update their volunteer roster.

Please note that you will still need to complete the audit application even if the actual payroll is identical to the estimates that were previously provided.

When Is the Audit Due?

The completed 2020 annual audit application must be submitted by January 29, 2021.
